Case of Mini Hairline Correction in Women with a Small Amount of Hair Transplant (Mini hairline)
We analyze the facial structure in detail according to the face shape and then proceed with hairline designing (Designing). The lady below didn’t have a high forehead, but she visited Moandline Plastic Surgery Clinic as her forehead hair density decreased in places and the angular forehead became more noticeable with age. Although her face shape was oval, with a round mid-face and slightly developed lower jaw, we did not recommend making the hairline too round or lowering it excessively. (Lowering the hairline too much can make the lower face appear disproportionately large.)
Also, since the left side of her forehead was flatter, we checked the forehead area and volume through 3D scanning analysis and adjusted the hairline design curvature accordingly.

Considering facial proportions, the height of the hairline is ideal, so we need to transplant fine and baby hairs, focusing on only enhancing the density by 4-5mm. The M-shaped area is not very deep, so it’s essential to proceed while preserving existing baby hairs, and transplant in a way that blends naturally with the existing hair, utilizing irregularity and acute angles of the slits.
For the side peak areas, to make them smoother, fine and baby hairs should be transplanted at an acute angle in line with the existing hair follicle direction. The patient’s follicles were fine, allowing for the transplantation of fine and baby hairs in the right amount in the center and side temple areas. (Advancing 5mm next to the center, 7mm in the side temple area)
The key is to harvest fine and baby hair follicles without damaging the tissue, as the hair is thin and follicles are lying at an acute angle.
