SLIT is not just the process of making ‘holes’.
Even for making microholes, the direction, and angles of slits must be changed case by case.
It is important to understand the subtle differences, such as 1-hair and 2-hair follicles, the angle, depth, and direction of each follicle. The direction and angle of the slit must vary according to those elements.
You must make variations in thickness by using 2 to 3-hair follicle types moving toward the top of the hairline.
More sparse regions, including scars and hair whorl, must partially receive dense 2-hair follicle transplants. As such, individual hairline transplant requires very detailed planning.
Therefore, SLIT is such a crucial part of completing a natural hairline correction. However, if a doctor does a surgery with less technique, knowhow, steps, or a keen sense of plastic surgery, it is inevitable that we will see a disappointing outcome.
If you especially want the baby hair effect, you must implant thin hair at a very acute angle.
